WHAT KIND OF RIDE IS THE CANDY CANE HUNT?

Time to take a unique trip via tractor drawn wagon. Simple in concept, magical for our younger audience (toddler through elementary age) and also very family friendly. This ride has become a holiday tradition for so many families since its inception in 2020. Santa's elves have hidden tinsel candy canes among the field lines, in our farm stand, and around our farm. You need to count them.

 

While counting our tinsel candy canes on our 20-25minute wagon ride, you will encounter 5 candy cane station stops. Each stop has candy canes that reach OVER the wagon. You do not leave the wagon. Each person is allowed one candy cane per person per stop. There is a surprise flavor at each stop because on our farm, no two candy cane stops are the same.

HOW MUCH IS THE CANDY CANE HUNT RIDE?

• ​$10/per person.

• Children 2 and under are free.

• Sign up online, show your ticket reservation and get a free small popcorn!

WHEN SHOULD WE ARRIVE?

• ARRIVE 10 MINUTES EARLY. 

• You may want to purchase hot cocoa/s'mores for your ride so please arrive earlier. Especially if you are arriving with a larger group.

• Please be patient with us. The weather and late arrival of other customers can create unforeseen delays. ​We prefer to fill our wagon and you may have to wait a few minutes while other families buy their tickets.

DO YOU SERVE FOOD?​

• We do not serve hot food. However, we offer the option to purchase popcorn, and hot cocoa inside the farm stand.

​S'MORES BY THE FIRE-PIT:

• This year we will be offering s'mores by the fire-pit during ALL day & night rides.

• S'mores are $4.50each. Each kit comes with a roasting stick and a gourmet s'mores bag: a kit-kat, reeses pb cup, jumbo marshmallow and honey graham crackers. 

• Note: If you choose s'mores by the fire, you will be dropped off at the fire-pit. You have the option of waiting for the next wagon to pick you up or walking back to the parking area. The entire ride plus s'mores is approximately one hour. 
   

​HOW LONG IS THE RIDE?

• Approximately 25minutes long.
   

HOW MANY RIDERS ARE ALLOWED PER PARTY IN 2025?

• No Minimum amount of riders.

• The more, the merrier! ​EVERYONE MUST BE SEATED OR THE RIDE STOPS!​

• If you have a party of 20 or more, please contact info@anawanfarm.com to schedule a private ride. Our two wagons hold 20 and 30 people.

ARE RIDES REFUNDABLE?

• Rides are NON-REFUNDABLE! We do our best to reschedule when rain cancels our rides. 
   

DO YOU RIDE IN INCLEMENT WEATHER?

• Rides happen in every type of weather except rain. We do not operate in any kind of rain. 

• DRESS APPROPRIATELY AND BRING APPROPRIATE ACCESSORIES: RAINCOAT, UMBRELLA, BOOTS, ETC.

• Rides do not have hay due to a variety of reasons.

• Always check our facebook page for the latest updates on whether rides are running or not due to inclement weather.

• You can also call the farm. However, we are a very small family farm and we cannot always answer the phone. Facebook is the BEST way to stay informed.

 

NO SMOKING & NO CARRYING OF WEAPONS OF ANY KIND ON OUR PROPERTY.

• Absolutely NO smoking.

• NO guns are allowed on the premises. We have had an issue of carrying in the past. This is a family farm and there is no need to carry weapons on our property on a family friendly wagon ride.

• Your trash is not wanted on our farm. Please throw trash in the appropriate receptacles.
