WHAT KIND OF RIDE IS THE CANDY CANE HUNT?

YOU NEED A REAL FLASHLIGHT TO HUNT FOR CANDY CANES WHILE ON THE WAGON. A CELL PHONE FLASHLIGHT WILL NOT WORK. THE LIGHT FROM A CELL PHONE DOES NOT REACH INTO THE FIELD LINE. THE FIELD LINE IS WHERE ALL OF THE CANDY CANES ARE HIDDEN FOR COUNTING.

Time to take a unique trip via tractor drawn wagon. Simple in concept, magical for our younger audience (toddler through elementary age) and also very family friendly. This ride has become a holiday tradition for so many families since its inception in 2020. Santa's elves have hidden tinsel candy canes among the field lines, in our farm stand, and around our farm. You need to count them.

 

While counting our tinsel candy canes on our 20-25minute wagon ride, you will encounter 5 candy cane station stops. Each stop has candy canes and each person is allowed one candy cane per person per stop. There is a surprise flavor at each stop because on our farm, no two candy cane stops are the same.

S'MORES BY THE FIRE 2025:

• This is an option we add every year to our night time candy cane wagon rides.

• It is an extra stop, making the total time for the ride and s'mores approximately 1hour.

• Our gourmet S'mores kits will be sold as individual servings this year $4.50each. S'mores kits come with one Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, 1 Kit-Kat, 1 Hershey Bar, 1 super duper large campfire marshmallow, graham crackers and an extra long roasting stick.

WHEN ARE S'MORES OFFERED?

• PLEASE CALL AHEAD BEFORE YOUR VISIT TO VERIFY IF S'MORES BY THE FIRE IS HAPPENING OR CHECK OUR FACEBOOK PAGE. 

• We do not hold S'mores by the fire pit: when it rains or when the temperature and/or windchill dips below 32degrees, or if the fire department asks not to hold fires due to major drought.

WHEN CAN I PURCHASE THE S'MORES KITS?

• If s'mores are being held upon the night of your arrival, you can purchase the s'mores kits upon arrival. This is why we ask that you arrive for your ride about 10min ahead of time. Kits will still be available for purchase to take home.

CAN WE BUY TICKETS? HOW CAN WE ATTEND?

• Tickets can be purchased online. 2025 and beyond is reservation only.​​

HOW MUCH IS THE RIDE?

• ​Purchase your tickets online for $10/per person**.

• Children 2 and under are free.

**We apologize for the price increase this season. Many, if not all of our expenses have risen making it impossible to not raise our wagon ride prices. Diesel, candy, entertainment, employment, etc, etc. The list just goes on. We like to be transparent and let you know we are doing our best to keep the price as low as possible.

WHEN SHOULD WE ARRIVE?

• ARRIVE 10MIN EARLY. 

• You may want to purchase hot cocoa for your ride so please arrive earlier.

• The hay wagon arrives behind our greenhouses located behind the farm stand.

• Please be patient with us. The weather and late arrival of other customers can create unforeseen delays. ​

DO YOU SERVE FOOD?​

• We do not serve hot food. However, we offer the option to purchase s'mores that can be cooked and eaten at our fire-pit, popcorn, and hot cocoa.

​HOW LONG IS THE RIDE?

• Approximately 25 minutes long without s'mores. 

• Approximately 1 hour with ride and s'mores stop.

WHAT TIMES ARE CONSIDERED A "NIGHT" RIDE?

• Select Fridays as shown on our calendar 5:00PM-7:00PM. Friday rides are all reserved as "private" rides. A miniumum of 8 riders ($80) is needed for a private ride. 

• Saturdays & Sundays 4:20PM-7:00PM

HOW MANY RIDERS ARE ALLOWED PER PARTY IN 2025?

• No Minimum amount of riders.

• Maximum number of riders 20 per purchase. However, 24 can squeeze on with little ones below 2yrs on board.

• The more, the merrier! ​EVERYONE MUST BE SEATED OR THE RIDE STOPS!​

 

ARE RIDES REFUNDABLE?

• Rides are NON-REFUNDABLE! We do our best to reschedule when rain cancels our rides. 
   

DO YOU RIDE IN INCLEMENT WEATHER?

• Rides happen in every type of weather EXCEPT rain. We will not operate in any kind of rain. 

• DRESS APPROPRIATELY AND BRING APPROPRIATE ACCESSORIES: HEAVY SOCKS, GLOVES, BOOTS, THERMAL CLOTHES, ETC.

• Rides do not have hay due to a variety of reasons.

NO SMOKING & NO CARRYING OF WEAPONS

• Absolutely NO smoking and NO guns are allowed on the premesis.
