Anawan Farm is taking the safest steps possible to keep our customers ahead of the coronavirus in 2020 and beyond. Our sunflower field will be by appointment only this year. There will be thousands of blooms in the field this year. We are asking if you want to take pictures with your family and the sunflowers, to make an appointment via our online booking service. There is a 10 bloom minimum purchase per booking. The reservation blocks are for 20 minutes each.
NOTE: Our farm is a small family farm with a small tented farmstand. We grow our sunflowers in successioned rows vs an entire field. Our sunflowers are commercial grade sunflowers. We do not grow cow feed grade sunflowers. Our seed is premium and we take pride in growing our rows seperately in order to sell our customers the best quality sunny on this side of New England. I'm sure, with your support, we will grow and our fields will also grow.
COVID ALERT!
We are requiring masks be used when purchasing flowers and/or vegetables at the farm stand. RESPECTFUL social distancing is expected along with equally respectful conduct while on our property.
Anawan Farm U-Pick 12 Sunflowers
- Please give your flower stems a FRESH cut upon arriving at home.
- Make sure ALL leaves are removed. Removing leaves allows your blooms to last longer.
- Place a few DROPS of bleach in your vase along with your water.
- Repeat above steps every 3-4days.
Our booking application does not allow "double" booking at this time. If you have family and friends that would like to attend with you, they are welcome to join. If they would like to purchase their own bouquet, please pay via one of the four UPICK OPTIONS on our field-to-fork product page.
